GUNIA
ONYSIIA EMBROIDERED DRESS
8700 MDL
Description
Elongated A-silhouette, side slits, pointed collar with tassels. The dress is adorned with embroidery in two techniques. The ornament design and its method are inspired by the paper artworks known as vytynanky, created by the Hutsul artist and writer Paraska-Plytka Horytsvit. Figures of a woman and a horse originate from an appliquéd rushnyk from the Ivan Honchar Museum and a painted house from 1928 in the Kharkiv region, respectively.
